Community releases are named by delivery year and month (YY.MM). For example, openUBMC 25.09 was released in September 2025.

Community releases are categorized into long-term support (LTS) releases and innovation releases.

• LTS releases: Released annually and provided with 12-month community support. The first openUBMC LTS release 25.12 is planned for December 2025.

• Innovation releases: Released every 3 months, offering 3-month community support. The first openUBMC innovation release was launched in March 2025, and the next is scheduled for September 2025.

Maintenance support: CVE & Bugfix, new hardware support, and limited new features (with LTS forward compatibility).
